External Partnership

The Department of ALN is supported and enhanced by strong partnerships with external agencies to ensure a consistent approach to meeting the needs of our students.  Mrs Anderton and her team work closely with:

Ladywood Outreach Service (Provision provided by Ladywood School to all schools within the Bolton Local Authority, to allow the sharing of knowledge and expertise);

Education Psychologists;

Behavioural Support Mentors;

Early Intervention Team and Connexions Service;

School Nurse (St Joseph’s has a qualified nurse, Mrs Griffiths who visits school every Monday and a specialist treatment room where students can go and talk confidentially);

CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services);

Teacher of the Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired.
