Please could you donate good quality clean clothes, bedding, curtains, soft toys, belts, handbags and shoes in bin bags and bring them into reception. Our collection is Tuesday 23 March so we need all bags before Tuesday. The more we have, the more the school raise. Last year, we raised £126 which was put to great use for our pupils. Please help us with this cause.

Sunday's mass at St Anthony's Chapel was very special as it was the last time that mass would be offered there. Following the mass, tea, coffee, bacon and sausage sandwiches were taken over to St Anthony's for the congregation. Many thanks go to Mrs Ainsworth, our Catering Manager who came into school and single-handedly made 150 sandwiches. Also, many thanks go to Mr Conley, Anna McKay, Beth Gilbert, Beth Fryer, Nathan Jowett & Simon Stones for their help!

The GMPTE who oversee the Greater Manchester Buses contacted school this afternoon to notify us of a change to the 915 route which comes into effect from Monday. The bus will no longer go down Glengarth Drive (Bryants Farm) and Regents Road but will instead go along Chorley New Road and down Beaumont Road. The GMPTE seem to feel that this is sufficient notice. As a school we do not and have protested in the strongest terms.
